In Labrador Canada, the Depas River runs directly northeast from the town of Schefferville, and is a major tributary of the George River which runs north into Ungava Bay. This river offers great canoeing and outstanding fishing for trout and salmon.
This trip requires driving to Labrador City, or flying if needed, and then traveling by float plane into the Depas River in Quebec. This trip has flyfishing for large brook trout and spin fishing for N. Pike and lake trout. A base camp on a lake is established and side trips to proven fishing areas take place. Due to the flying expense of gear and canoes, weight is a major consideration. All clients must cover their own costs to and from Labrador City.
This is a fisherman's dream trip and is as beautiful as it gets.
